Agreement to These Terms By using commercialflooringtoronto.ca [/ →](/) , requesting a quote, or engaging Commercial Flooring Toronto ("we", "us", or "our") to carry out work, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and regulations of the Province of Ontario and of Canada. ## 2\. Services We Provide We are a commercial flooring contractor serving the Toronto GTA. Our scope of work includes: - Homogeneous Sheet Vinyl - Commercial Epoxy Flooring - Commercial Flooring Contractors - Commercial Carpet Tile - Commercial LVT - Rubber Gym Flooring - Commercial Flooring Installation - Entrance Matting Systems - Linoleum / Marmoleum - Subfloor preparation, moisture testing, and moisture mitigation - Removal and disposal of existing floor coverings Work is performed for commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-residential common areas. We do not carry out single-family residential installations. ## 3\. Quotes and Pricing All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless the quote states otherwise. Published price bands on this website, including $4.50 to $18 CAD per sq ft for installation and $6,500 to $18,500 CAD for a full fit-out, are indicative ranges provided to help you budget. They are not an offer. Only a written itemised quote issued for your specific site is binding. A written quote is valid for 30 days from its date unless stated otherwise, after which material pricing may be requeried. A site assessment is charged at $199 CAD and is waived where work is authorized on the same visit. ## 4\. Site Conditions and Change Orders Quotes are based on the site conditions observed at assessment and on the information you provide. Concealed conditions discovered after work begins, such as unexpected adhesive residue, structural slab defects, moisture readings above manufacturer tolerance, or asbestos-containing materials, may require a change order. We will stop, inform you, and issue a written change order with pricing before proceeding with the additional scope. Where a designated substance survey is required by Ontario occupational health and safety legislation, it is the responsibility of the building owner or their representative to provide it before demolition begins. ## 5\. Scheduling, Access, and Delays You are responsible for providing clear and safe access to the work area at the agreed times, including elevator bookings, loading dock access, security clearance, parking, and power. Delays caused by access restrictions, other trades, or late decisions may affect the schedule and may incur additional charges, which will be advised in writing. After-hours, overnight, and weekend work carries a labour differential of 25 to 40 percent, identified as a separate line on the quote. ## 6\. Payment Terms Payment terms are stated on each quote. We accept cash, cheque, credit card, and electronic funds transfer. Commercial financing is available on approved credit for projects over $10,000 CAD through third-party partners, subject to their terms. A deposit may be required on material orders, particularly for special-order or non-stock lines. ## 7\. Cancellation Cancellation of scheduled work requires at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations inside that window may attract a charge covering crew mobilisation and any restocking fee imposed by the material supplier. Special-order material that has been cut, ordered, or delivered is non-returnable. ## 8\. Warranty We provide a written workmanship warranty on every installation. Material performance is covered separately by the manufacturer warranty applicable to the product supplied, and those terms are provided to you at handover. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, unsuitable cleaning products or methods, building envelope failure, hydrostatic pressure arising after handover, structural movement, or alterations carried out by others. Where moisture testing identifies readings above manufacturer tolerance and you decline the recommended mitigation, any resulting adhesive or coating failure is excluded from warranty coverage. ## 9\. Limitation of Liability To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any project is limited to the amount paid to us for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business, revenue, or profit. ## 10\. Insurance and Compliance We carry $2M commercial general liability insurance and maintain a current WSIB clearance certificate. Copies are provided on request for your project file. Work is carried out in accordance with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable manufacturer installation specifications. ## 11\. Website Content and Intellectual Property All content on this website, including text, images, layout, and logos, is the property of Commercial Flooring Toronto or its licensors. Manufacturer and standards names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are referenced for identification only. Information on this site is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a design specification for your project. ## 12\. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario. ## 13\. Changes to These Terms We may revise these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page.
